The Audit Committee supports and controls the Treasurer. Throughout the year, we meet several times to discuss the association’s budget. The Treasurer can also contact the Audit Committee with questions, which the Audit Committee can advise on. Not unimportant is the controlling function of the committee, in which they check that the Treasurer is balancing and using association funds correctly. In short, this committee is more important than meets the eye!
